By creating an account or using Focus App ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Focus App is a productivity platform that provides AI-powered task management, focus session timers, analytics, and related tools to help individuals and teams improve deep work habits.

We offer both a free tier and paid subscription plans. Features available on each tier are described on our Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Focus App. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are being used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service • Sell, resell, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise systematically access the Service without prior written permission

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy.

We use Stripe as our payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees. If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.

We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers are protected from price changes under our early-access price-lock guarantee.

You retain ownership of all data you create or upload to Focus App. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by Focus App and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Focus App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. You may close your account via Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data within 30 days of termination after which it will be permanently deleted.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
